Living in Louisville, Southern Indiana, and the greater Kentuckiana region makes it feel like an understatement to say the power is “unpredictable.” Seasonal storms, damaging winds, and an overloaded electrical grid can leave your home without the power needed for heating, cooling, refrigeration, sump pumps, medical devices and everyday life.
Varitech is a trusted whole-house generator installer serving Kentuckiana, offering Briggs & Stratton, Generac, KOHLER and Champion standby generators sized to your home’s electrical demands.
A standby generator is ultimately about preparation, like having a life insurance policy for your electricity.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9
Preparing your home before the next outage is one practical way to protect the people and property that matter to you.
Why Trust Varitech for Generator Installation?
Local homeowners need more than someone who can drop a generator beside the house. They need a generator contractor capable of sizing, installing and supporting the complete backup power system.
Varitech combines profound Kentuckiana experience with manufacturer credentials and full-service generator capabilities.
One company. Four leading generator brands. Complete backup power support.
Deciding What Generator to Get? Here’s What Varitech Recommends
There isn’t one “best” generator for every Kentuckiana home. Generator size, natural gas availability, propane capacity, electrical load, property layout and the appliances you want backed up all influence the final recommendation.
As a Briggs & Stratton Platinum Dealer and Authorized Generac, KOHLER and Champion Dealer, Varitech can compare leading systems instead of forcing every homeowner into one brand.
Briggs & Stratton Generator Installer
Briggs & Stratton PowerProtect generators are especially attractive for homeowners who want strong natural-gas performance without sacrificing valuable outdoor space. Current PowerProtect models feature NGMax technology, and the 13 kW model has a footprint that is 39% smaller than other leading generators in its class.
Varitech is a Briggs & Stratton Platinum Dealer, giving homeowners experienced access to PowerProtect standby generator solutions.
Generac Generator Installer
Generac Guardian generators are built specifically around automatic residential standby power. Generac’s G-Force engines are purpose-built, pressure-lubricated engines designed for generator duty. With True Power Technology, they produce less than 5% total harmonic distortion on clean-power models suitable for neighborhoods.
As an Authorized Generac Dealer, Varitech can help homeowners match Generac capacity and transfer switches to their actual backup power needs.
KOHLER Generator Installer
KOHLER home standby generators remain a strong choice for homeowners looking for dependable automatic backup power with multiple residential capacity options. Options such as 14 kW, 20 kW and 26 kW systems let Varitech match capacity to the home’s load.
Varitech is an Authorized KOHLER Dealer serving homeowners throughout Jefferson, Shelby and Hardin Counties.
Champion Generator Installer
Champion’s aXis and fleX standby systems combine automatic backup power with intelligent load management technology. Certain Champion residential models are rated up to 20% more fuel-efficient than leading competitors. And durable aluminum-zinc-coated steel enclosures protect your home without the elements getting in the way!
As an Authorized Champion Dealer, Varitech can recommend a system that balances capacity, load management and installation requirements for your home.
How Does Varitech Help With Generator Installation?
A whole-house generator isn’t simply another appliance. It is a long-term investment in peace of mind!
Automatic Transfer Switch Installation
When utility power fails, the ATS detects the outage, transfers the home’s electrical load to generator power and switches back after utility service returns.
Varitech can pair the appropriate ATS with your Briggs & Stratton, Generac, KOHLER or Champion standby generator for a complete residential backup power system.
